Fundraising events are the foundation of a grassroots organization.

When we began working with Out Boulder County in 2016, they were a scrappy two-person outfit raising around $200k per year, almost entirely from community donations. Though the majority of their funding now comes from government, foundations, sponsorship, and large donors, those early events helped build visibility and connections within Colorado and beyond, forming the foundation for the $4+ million-per-year force for equity that they are today.

Serving as OBC’s nominal agency of record on a largely volunteer basis from 2016-2023, we are incredibly proud of the work we’ve done to celebrate every beautiful facet of humanity they represent.

Good comms should be an above the line expense for non-profits.

They can drive revenue, tell stories, and become something your stakeholders look forward to as much as the Patagonia catalog.

We created several annual reports for Out Boulder County, each in an attempt to elevate the product to something that raised money rather than checked boxes. This is from 2022 and proves an interesting use of AI in hybrid with digital painting.
