We begin with a rough idea of who we are and add facets until we become whole.

GODOT.
The LGBTQ+ community is about more than a parade.
While festivals and visibility are certainly a vibrant part of the LGBTQ experience, much of Out Boulder County’s work is focused on deeper, often quieter efforts. These are the moments when we’re standing alongside individuals, building resilience, and addressing the challenges our community faces year-round. It’s about creating lasting support systems, providing critical resources, and showing up in ways that go beyond the spotlight.
This core brand needed to reflect those moments as well as the joy, evolving seamlessly across applications—from Pridefest and fundraising to mental health support and donor relations.

Pride is not a sin.
And, of course, no LGBTQ brand would be complete without Pride.
The first Pridefest was held in 1970 in New York City, sparking a movement that has since spread across the country and the world. Pride celebrations have become a vital part of LGBTQ+ visibility and empowerment, and while these gatherings are almost always filled with joy and resilience, they took on a more somber tone as we grieved and persevered through the pandemic, reflecting the zeitgeist of the community.
