Beckett Taylor

Beckett founded Godot in 2006 as a boutique creative consultancy, focused on solving complex problems with a toolkit of media, technology, behavioral science, and design. With over a hundred client engagements over the course of 27 years, Beckett believes that what the world deems as “creativity” is simply solving problems through a human lens.

Before founding Godot in Boulder, CO, Beckett served the US and British consulates in St. Petersburg, Russia teaching art history and technology, ran an import/export business out of Tallinn, Estonia selling Chinese antiques, designed international management programs for Japan Tobacco, and worked as a copywriter for Ogilvy.

Returning to New York, he contracted with KPMG (copy), D&G (art), and HIT Entertainment (hybrid/strategy) in partnership with PBS and Sesame Workshop to launch the TV channel Sprout.

Iti Loorents

A self-proclaimed “ex-pat” and native of Estonia, Iti co-founded Godot in 2006 and joined the team full time in 2012 as a video producer, editor, and social media manager.

Currently, Iti serves as Godot’s head of production, working with others to bring concepts to life. With her background in editing, motion graphics, and interactive technology, she speaks the language of production while maintaining critical, productive relationships with the creative team.

In addition to her behind-the-scenes production role, Iti is a client-facing ambassador in most engagements ensuring that the team’s ideas come to life in execution.

Iti is currently in the top .01% of player DPS in ARAM in LOL and was once number 47 in the world on the Gruul fight in WOW. As a shadow priest.

Christopher Vu Gandin Le

Vu has spent his life at the intersection of communication, technology, and humanity. He has served on the launch team of every large scale suicide prevention effort since 2003. His groundwork is at the heart of the safety and security protocols for Google, Facebook, Youtube, Tumblr and more. He was the National Suicide Hotline’s third hire.

Vu has spent his life designing population-specific programs that transition communities from traumatic events to post-traumatic growth. With his profound understanding of human nature and how we interact with messaging, however, he’s equally at home selling widgets as long as they are widgets of substance.

In all of these efforts, Vu takes a profoundly personal approach to large scale issues. His mom fled Vietnam in 1978 when he was four months old, making him one of the first “boat people.” After a year in a refugee camp, they were sponsored by an American family to come to the U.S. He spends his life trying to provide others with the same kind of refuge that he felt in that moment.

Vu holds a Masters degree in Communications and Instructional Design from Teachers College at Columbia University.

Hollie Rogin

Hollie is an award-winning Copy Director, writer, and communications strategist. A trailblazer for women in the technology communications space, Hollie was a founding member of Women in Technology International. She is a longtime and a fierce advocate for creating professional environments in which traditionally marginalized people are empowered to succeed.

After working in-house for emerging technology companies, Hollie spent more than 10 years with Ogilvy as a Copy Director and Senior Strategist, and then founded her own consulting firm. For more than a decade, she focused on elevating startup and enterprise renewable energy enterprises and mentored for National Renewable Energy Labs, The Cleantech Open, and the Canadian Trade Office before joining Godot. Hollie is also currently serving as the Mayor of the Town of Lyons, Colorado.

Makenzie Davis

Makenzie is a practicing visual artist that works primarily with recycled paper pulp, natural pigments, and oil painting to create large scale and site specific installations. With Godot, she integrates her physical creative process into our client work, taking on new approaches to cross-disciplinary problem solving.

As a creative, Makenzie is interested in ideas of home, what it means to cultivate community, and how to make contact with our own origin stories. After earning her MFA in painting and illustration from University of Hawaii, she returned home herself to Colorado where, in addition to her work with Godot, she teaches design and art appreciation classes at Front Range Community College, spearheads the Plains Paradox Literary Art Magazine, and serves as Vice President of the nonprofit Firehouse Art Center in Longmont, CO.

She believes in pushing the boundaries of what creative problem solving and collaboration can achieve, both in small and large scales.

Jennifer Gandin Le

Jennifer Gandin Le is a writer, editor, and photographer. She has an extraordinary gift for helping people translate their ideas into clear, powerful written language that conveys the heart of their message. Most recently, Jennifer has worked with authors like James and Laura Victore, John Howard, Marcela Lobos, Ana Catalina Reynoso De La Garza, and Enolia Foti.

Jennifer also edited Danielle LaPorte’s White Hot Truth: Clarity for Keeping It Real on Your Spiritual Path from One Seeker to Another, and Rochelle Schieck’s Qoya: A Compass for Navigating an Embodied Life that is Wise, Wild and Free, a book based on the movement that has been featured on Oprah.com and in publications like New York Magazine and Psychology Today.

When she was just 24, director Francis Ford Coppola commissioned her film adaptation of the best-selling novel The Girls’ Guide to Hunting and Fishing by Melissa Bank. Her non-fiction writing has been published in Reuters, Wired Magazine, Time Out New York, BUST Magazine, and The Village Voice.

Gandin Le graduated with honors from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. She’s also an alumna of the Woodhull Institute for Ethical Leadership, a national organization of over 2,500 women ethical leaders working toward social change. She lives in Austin, TX, with her husband, two young sons, dog, and two ball pythons.

Jeff Galfer

An actor and filmmaker, Jeff has worked professionally on stage in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Atlanta, & Los Angeles. Television/film credits include SCORPION (recurring), HAWAII FIVE-O, HOMELAND, THE PATIENT, GRISELDA, YOUR HONOR, ALL AMERICAN, CHANCE, NCIS, CASTLE, LAW & ORDER, NUMBERS, LOVE & MERCY, and a recurring role on the Steven Spielberg/Oren Peli produced THE RIVER for ABC.

Jeff’s short film BURIED TREASURE (which he wrote and produced) won Best Narrative Short award at the Rome International Film Festival, Best of Fest at the Illinois International Film Festival, and an Audience Choice award at the Zero Film Festival, Los Angeles. The film was eventually distributed worldwide by ShortsTV on DirectTV.

Jeff holds an MFA Acting from the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco and a Bachelor of Science in Theatre and Political Theory from the University of Evansville in Indiana.

Ilce Rivero

Ilce joins Godot as a bi-cultural facilitator, translator, and moderator focusing on public health communication initiatives targeted toward the latino/a/e population.

Originally from Mexico, Ilce makes our work possible in speaking to and with difficult-to-reach demographics. Bringing the warmth of a mother, the detail of a CPA, and the compassion of an immigrant, Ilce connects populations through a genuine interest in hearing the voice of people. All people.

Ilce lives in Boulder, CO with her husband and two kids and enjoys going to Hooters to watch boxing.

Bryce Navin

Bryce joined Godot as a copywriter in 2016, providing content, style, and substance to multiple projects including, most recently, Hyatt’s high-level leadership training and virtual onboarding.

A true creative polymath and autodidact, Bryce is “finally finishing” their Masters in Philosophy at the University of Colorado Denver while they continues to work with Godot as senior copywriter, thought partner, activist, and occasional musician.

When it comes to the writing process, no influence goes unnoticed. Bryce employs rigorous critical theory and continental style to produce work that doesn’t just engage – it inspires.

Bryce is a Marxist (which makes them difficult to manage) and has a tattoo of an espresso machine portafilter because they don’t fear coffee, commitment, or consequence.

Charlie Spann

A long time friend of the organization, Charlie first formally worked with the Godot team doing video production work for Hyatt’s DEI initiatives. Since, he has continued to serve in a production and messaging role for clients inside and outside of the diversity space.

A gifted illustrator, natural communicator, rabid romantic, and genuinely kind, funny human, Charlie brings high-level creative thinking, a persuasive voice, and intuitive millennial tech to Godot’s team of gray-haired fuddy-duddies.

Spann lives in Denver with his cats, who also happen to have studied criminal justice and worked in the event promotion and natural foods industry.
