What is creative?

What we think of as creative is empathy. It’s putting ourselves in the shoes of your audience and asking: what would it take for me to actually notice? What would it take for me to care? What would it take for me to act?

Creative work isn’t decoration. It’s problem-solving through a human lens. It’s respect for the audience. It’s listening closely and building what fits.

That’s the work we do. Some people call it advertising. Others design. We call it creative.

Our statement on diversity

Godot is a woman-owned and immigrant-led creative agency, whether you like it or not.

It’s interesting walking around with our faces and accents while being asked about our DEI initiatives. While other organizations tried to play catch up, scrambled to add, and now pretend to subtract diversity forward ideas, we just do good work. We exist.

Our team reflects the communities we serve and stays accountable to the lived experience of our partners, staff, and audiences. What has always mattered to us is who sits at the table, who shapes the work, and who benefits from it.

We approach all this change with curiosity, but not surprise. Diversity is the natural result of any agency serious about solving complex problems.
